Christmas Holidays

So, I've been on Christmas break for a week now, and it's been marvelous! Here is a quick run-down:

December 12: My roommates and I all bought presents for each other, then we opened them together this night. It was a fun girl's night and we really bonded for the last time, since we won't be sharing an apartment next semester! It was a lot of fun. Then we watched Confessions of a Shopoholic and went to bed late.

December 13: I finished the last of my finals and we cleaned the apartment thoroughly and packed all our stuff. Then we had White Glove. It was nerve wracking but we somehow made it! It was great to have everything done so early though!

December 14: Hannah and I moved our stuff to our new apartment that we'll be living in next semester. We had some help from a couple roommates (Mariel and Abby W.) and Eric, one of our Family Home Evening brothers. That was fun and took most of the day. Then I packed the rest of my stuff, stuffed it in Abby W.'s car and picked up Linds. We stayed the weekend at her families house in IF. Oh, and Tony turned 13!

December 16: Abby and her mom drove Linds and I to the airport in IF where we flew home from. It was a good flight, which I slept through most of. It was fun though! I love flying.

December 17-20: I spent a lot of time watching movies/tv shows, reading, texting, and facebooking. All the things I didn't get to do much of during the semester. It was fun and enjoyable.

December 21: Meg drove me to DI where I got Christmas Presents for my family members. She paid for them, that was her Christmas present to me. It was good, I think I covered everyone. Mom also went to the store later that night and bought me some sprite and tomato soup. I paid her back when she got home.

December 22: Mom drove me to the Family Dollar Store where I got some chocolate and she got some more candy for the stockings. Then we came home and my dad, brothers, and Melinda went to a doctor's appointment. While they were gone, my mom, Tina, and I cleaned the house up for Tony's birthday party. We put a couple cakes in the oven, and once they got home we started the stew and biscuits for dinner. Once that was started, we put the Christmas tree up (finally!) and his friends started showing up. They stayed until around 10. We had a good stew and had some fun hanging out. My mom and I started a puzzle and Melinda helped a little bit. Mom is still doing the puzzle at the table but I was cold and I'm really tired so I gave up for now.

Overall, the last week and a half has been really good and I'm having a great time! More posts to come!
